Patch to ver 6.12 |

DC6 Patch from 6.00, 6.02
or 6.04 to version 6.12
This is a cumulative patch update that fixes bug and
adds one new feature. It adds the ability to use marker names as file
names when chopping files.
Here is a complete
list of fixes:
- Increased temp file limit
and Added warnings if you have have many temp files.
- Fixed EzClean low frequency
attenuation at zero attenuation.
- Fixed EzClean display of
hiss level when bypassed
- Fixed VVA filter strange
behaviour with some settings
- Changed Find and Mark Silent
passages to place markers in the middle of the marker area.
- Extended min time between
markers on Find and mark silence to 99 seconds from 40.
- Added progress bar and
cancel button to save as in fast edit mode
- Fixed Batch file editor
so that it really will overwrite the source files. This works
regardless of the "Use Dest Dir" checkbox, which is different
than before. This allows you
to re-use the same list of files with a different filter, sortof like
chaining operations.
- Fixed the spectrum analyzer
Clear button when dual display mode is selected.
- Fixed the median filter
with Odd width values and a weighting other than zero.
- Fixed the batch file editor
and playlist editor total times with 24bit files.
- Fixed the XY display logic
for the Left and Right channels.
- Fixed the timer record
so it would wrap past midnight.
- Fixed the DirectX plugin
filter so it works properly with 24 bit files.
- Added full support for
32bit floating point file types.
- Changed IO card preferences
so two instances of DC6 can use different
Sound card settings, such as two different inputs on a multitrack sound
card.
- Fixed the Freeze button
on the CNF so that it works if you stop the filter and preview again.
- Added an option to switch
to the older FFT algorithm for systems that have experienced crashing
- Fixed incorrect display
using fastedit with 24bit mono files.
- Fixed page up and page
down keys to work correctly at the beginning and end of files.
- Added wait cursor and status
text while rebuilding a peak file.
- Fixed program exit bug.
If you close the program and answer cancel to the "Do you want
to save"Question, the program would exit anyway.
- Fix save after program
exits. If you answer yes to save the file after closing the program,
the main window stays displayed until the program exits. Previously
it disappeared.
- Fix and record bug. If
you save a newly recorded file as an existing name, the pkf file and
ses file were not deleted,
- Fixed a DirectX plugin
filter bug on some fiters like reverbs that would never end.
- Fixed the wait cursor while
saving, copying and resampling.
- Fixed the file save-as
after a recording. If you overwrote an existing file, the previous session
file would not be deleted, which confused the view of the new file.
- Fixed the file conversion
filter offset adjustment with high sample rate files, and doubled the
available file offset on higher sample rate files.
- Fixed chop file dialog.
Changing name suffix would grey out the basename field for no good reason.
- Fixed chop file dialog
when deleting the original file. The file would remain open in the editor
even though it was deleted.
- Added feature to use the
marker labels as file names when chopping files into pieces.
- Fixed missing menu item
"EzClean Filter" in DC6. It was missing only when no files
were opened.
- Fixed the operation of
the Left only and Right only selection boxes. They had reversed channels
on the Echo and Adaptive filters and did not work at all on the declipper
and in the multifilter.
- Fixed the TD Adaptive filter
keep residue. It would not get saved in the presets.
- Fixes many VVA presets
