The performance took place on Sunday evening of 12-9-1979 at the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Westfield, NJ. It was performed by members of that congregation and consisted of the church choir with orchestral accompaniment. It was recorded pro-bono (by myself) on a Teac 3340S 4 track analog recorder at 15 ips. Two Neuman microphones were used high above the orchestra (located forward of the choir) with two Beyer microphones used high above the choir section (my technique always involved using height to obtain a natural mix in large venues). I mixed it down with an analog tube mixer about 10 years ago directly into my computer at that time. The audience noise between movements were reduced using Diamond Cut DCart10 with selective use of the I key (coughing reduction and instrument noises). I selectively used the HPF between some of the movements so that the woofers would not move so much from the HVAC.
