  • Edison Cylinders Found at the Edison National Historic Site

    Some old cylinder recordings have been found at the ENHS in West Orange, NJ. in a box located behind the cot in which Edison cat-napped in the Library. Here is a link to an article about that:

    I have not found a link to the actual sound transfers, however.

      Indeed - I hope that we will find them posted soon. If anyone finds them, let the rest of us know. I noted mention of FirstSounds.org and also note that Diamond Cut Productions Inc donated a copy of the Forensics software to them for this sort of use circa 2009.
