  • Sonograph or Spectrograph?

Recently, a customer wrote to us inquiring if any of the Diamond Cut Software includeds a "Sonograph" feature. The answer is yes, but it is called a Spectrograph in Diamond Cut terminology. It is found in the Live-Forensics version since it is commonly used in voice print analysis by governmental agencies around the world. Some folks have also found it to be very useful in audio restoration work.

Sonographs or Spectrographs (or Spectrograms) plot a sounds Frequency vs. Time. The Diamond Cut version of this function also synchronizes the Spectrograph (or Sonograph) with the Amplitude vs. Time graph of the same data.
