  • Beta Testers Sought for DC8 & Live/Forensics Audio Lab, v.8.0

    Hi Folks,

We are seeking Beta testers for DC8 & Live/Forensics Audio Laboratory, v. 8.0. This has been in development for around 8 months now and we expect to have Beta code available for testing in roughly 6 weeks. We believe that you will find the additional feature set to be quite interesting and very useful in your work. Here is a partial listing of new features:

    ? Big Click Filter Added
? Big Click Checkbox added to the EZ Impulse Filter
? Spectral Editing Mode added to the Spectrogram
? Extended the length of the time interval capability for the Manual Interpolation Function
? Add a bi-modal algorithm to the Manual Interpolator which uses both time and frequency domain techniques for greater signal replacement accuracy
? Added a Sub-Harmonic Generator for recovering the lost lower octaves of the audio spectrum
? Added an Overtone Generator for recovering lost upper octaves of the audio spectrum
    ? Added a Noise Masking Effect/Function
? Broadcast .wav file support added
? Added Shuffle Play Feature to the DC Tune Library
? Presets added to the Make Waves Signal Generator
? Data Disc Burning Capability for CDs, DVDs & CDR-Ws
? Disc at once mode added to the CD burner
? Cd text support added to the CD burner
? Flac non-lossy file compression support added
? Hotkey access added for the Spectrogram Function

Participants will receive a free copy of the Live/Forensics Audio Laboratory, v. 8.0. We need around 10 testers who are somewhat familiar with the existing DC7 and/or Live/Forensics Audio Laboratory, v.7.5. That way, you will be up on the learning curve already.

If you are interested, please write me at:

I will keep a list and when we are ready to go, I will write to you with details.

    Thanks and Best Regards,

Craig Maier / Diamond Cut Productions, Inc.
