Dynamic Low Pass Filter Noise Gate

Here is a preset that can be used to squelch noise between tracks on a record transfer. It works on a different principle than the noise gate presets in the dymanics processor in that it is less agressive and provides a smoother transition from the material to the quiet between tracks. The tradeoff is that it does not completely silence the system between tracks; it merely attenuates the top end of the spectrum. It can also be used to produce an automatic and interesting fade-out type of effect at the end of a "cut". It needs to be installed as a preset in the Dynamic Noise Filter.

You may need to adjust the Dynamic Noise Filter threshold control to obtain optimal results on your particular material.
