    Hi,
I have just bought DC6 and I have a question.
It can be installed on Windows 98 and up
I use Windows 98 SE so it is ok for me but is there any advantage to install Windows XP for DC6?
I mean-is any disadvantege to use DC6 in Windows 98 SE?
    Thanx

I believe that DC6 is more stable on XP or Win 2000 compared to 98 SE. Also, there are some Codecs that can be used by DC6 which are not in 98 SE but are native to XP which you may find yourself needing. These involve some of the more esoteric file formats. See the Diamond Cut users guide to see a listing of these. One other thing - - - I am not sure of the WDM driver support level in 98 SE compared to XP. You may encounter some sound cards that will not be able to work at their maximum performance level with 98 - - - things like 24 bit resolution and 96 or 192 KHz sampling rates.
