  • GUI Needs Serious Work

Recently, a customer complained that the DC6 GUI needs serious work.

That is highly subjective. The pro's seem to love it. It is highly flexible and therefore not simple in construct. If you want "simple", please consider using DC Audio Mentor.

    Hi, Craig -

Well, I have to say that although I am a long-time user (but by no means an expert), I have tried several other audio editing programs, and I always come back to Diamond Cut. I think your interface is phenomenal and once you see how it works, find it is extremely simple. Scrolling, zooming, pinpointing, marking, blocking, etc all work very easily, as far as I'm concerned. I would keep this interface as is. I know when I'm working with some of the multi-track software I have (for recording my band, for example), I wish I had DC's interface to work with. In fact, on several occasions, I have exported out of the multitrack as a WAV file, worked on the file in DC, then imported back into the multi-track mix.

So I would just say, "Thanks for your great product!"
