  • Birthdates of DC5 and DC6

    Having been in the business of clarifying recorded evidence for 30 years, I am curious as to when DC5 and DC6 were first "born". The first tools were pretty crude by today's standards, and of course, limited to what is realizeable in the analog world. I was just wondering if you have dates as to when the different generations of the software first was introduced......

    Keep up the good work... loking forward to DC7...

    P.S. Most of my tape recorders in the cave didn't work until they discovered electricity ...

    Actually, the grand daddies to DC6 are quite a bit older than DC5. Here is a link to the product development sequence and history of Diamond Cut Productions audio restoration products:

    It appears that the first code was written mid 1993. My, how time flies!
