  • Inserting Markers

In the process of doing doctoral research work I have a .wav file I need chopped up and an Excel file with a list of timestamps where the breaks need to happen. I'd like to "automate" the insertion of the timestamps into the audio file (just like markers) so I can split the big .wav into many files.

Is there anyway to do this?

I know the marker information is stored in the .pkf file so I was thinking some kind of cut and paste operation might work.

    Hi,

You might want to try to download the demo version of DC Forensics8 or DC8 which supports the Broadcast Wave format. This may facilitate your overall needs. The program will work for around 10 days without cost.
