Error when going to Record

We never saw the conclusion of this posted, but it was involving the soundcard preferences set for MME instead of WDM. This was ascertained via a telecom.

Hi,

Is this something new with your existing system or have you changed something (computer, operating system, or some other hardware)? Did it work in the past and then it stopped recording? In general, what is different (besides the error message)?

When I enter record and press on pause to set levels I receive the following message, and am not able to record....


"DirectSound Error - An undetermined error occurred inside the DirectSound subsystem"

This occurs on DC Live 8 and and on an old version of DCLive 6 on the same computer.


Any thoughts?
