  • Constant crash on using Batch File Editor

With version 8.13 and 8.15 I have a constant crash using the batch file editor and the multi-filter (haven't tried other filters)

I load the multi-filter, load 3 simple wav files and press run and the program crashes. This is with 8.13 and 8.15

With 8.15, I have done the same using a wav files in a different directory and while it didn't crash, I got a can't execute due to locked files or admin issues. If I execute the multi-filter on individual files (same files, same directory), DC8.15 works fine.

Win 8.1. Did same thing on 8.0.

    Thoughts?

Wonder if it's just Windows version 8 ?

Did you try it with an empty multifilter, or something really simple, like a high pass. Whenever I have an issue it is usually because I have a filter trying to do too much. I have 32gb ram and still can crash it if I ask for too much in one pass.

        Hi,

I have a few questions about it.

        1. Did this situation always exist? If not, what versions worked ok?

        2. Did you change any hardware in your system?

        3. Did you change the operating system?

        4. Did an earlier version of DC8 work with the system you are presently using?

        5. What filters are you using in the Multifilter in Batch mode?

        Please advise,

        Craig
