  • Noise Reduction on BAD cassette Tape

Can someone give me a head start to clean up the noise on a bad home recorded cassette done with a cheap recorder. Try as I might, I either get it to sound like talking through a tin can or worse. (I have tried continuous noise and pass filters)

I'd attach an MP3, but seems as though someone will have to request it.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Send me a 10 second sample of the raw transfer of the tape in .wav format (44.1 kHz, 16 bit). Send it to me at:

    dctools@aol.com

I will get back to you as to how to clean it up.
