DC8 Audio Laboratory New (Issue)

New to DC 8 .... Set up program and opened my first .wav file and got the following error: "DirectSoundError:Unknown error number"..... It may be a simple thing, but could not find the error in the help area. I am on a Mac Book Pro, Win 7 64 bit, Bootcamp. My other programs such as abc and xyz are working fine..... Two things - the program has never been designed to run or tested on a Mac. I have heard of Bootcamp, but am not familiar with it. In Diamond Cut, under edit/preferences/soundcard, make sure that the software input and output devices are pointed to the correct soundcard. Direct Sound Errors are usually related to communications between the soundcard and the software program;
