File Conversion Problem

I have dragged AIFF files from my G3 & G4 Macs over to my DELL for processing, but I cannot get DC5/LIVE to convert them to WAVE files. I have tried using .aif, .aiff, and no suffix(even dumbly tried .wav in desperation!). I followed the instructions exactly as shown on page 52 of the manual, but all I get is a dialog box that the file format is not recognized by the program after I click step 4.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Jason!
Thanks for the tip -- I had been SAVING without .aif and had ADDED the suffix when the file arrived at the PC. Saving first WITH the suffix works fine. It's amazing all the little wrinkles one has to learn in life.
