  • Confusion about file extensions

I use DCart32 to clean-up live concerts of my community band. I get a recording of a concert on CD with the audio files formated with the .cda extenison. I convert these to .wav files so that I can work with them in DCart32. This works well until I burn the files back to a cd. If I burn the cds using the .wav format some people can't play them on their cd player. So far I haven't found a converter that changes .wav files to .cda files. How can I solve this problem?

    Thanks.

Make sure you are burning as a music CD, not a data cd. You should find that option in whatever software you are using. If you burn as a music CD, the software will automatically convert to the proper format.
