  • Recording on left-hand side only

Do you know why only the left-hand record meter is working? It's on LR on the toolbar.

Is this the DCArt 32 version of the software that you are dealing with? I do not remember the L/R feature existing in those times.

Please check the version that you have.

Oh dear, I might be in the wrong forum. It's DC5.

OK. Well, the L/R feature will not be operational on a monophonic file, and that is what it seems that you may have there. Also, only 1 VU meter will deflect on mono wavefiles. Check that aspect of things out.

Is there anything I can do to change this? The result is that I can only hear it through my left earphone.

            Yes.

            Goto:

            Filter/File Conversions/From Mono to Stereo

Run that filter on your file and it will convert it to a dual-mono file so that you can hear it from both channels of your headphones or loudspeakers.
