  • maximum not seen in the display area

Since I upgrade to version 3.12 I occasionally display a wave file that doesn't seem to be at maximum. I then use the gain normalized function and get the remark it is within .2db of maximum. From my past experience what I see on display is between .5 and 1 db from maximum value. If I zoom many times where peaks are I eventually find somewhere a peak that is really at maximum value. Are you aware of that fact - is-it because the lower and upper value have moved form -32768 to 32767 on the display screen.

One nice feature of this revision is the ability to view the very last part of the file after accessing the zoom out (-).

    I enjoy working with DC-ART 32.

The zoomed out display is probably missing this peak. It sounds like a bug because the peak display waveform that is generated should show every peak, but depending on what the file size is, the zoom level and the display resolution of the card there may be a situation where it misses some.
