clean background but occasional loud pops LP

I have a record (33 LP) that is very clean and hardly any background noise but has two nasty scraches and everytime the needle hits the scrach it pops. I do not want to run filter on the whole record just the pops.Any suggestion is appreciated.

Have you considered using the manual interpolate mode? That sounds like what you are looking for.
