Does anybody have any experience getting rid of that "sh-h-h-h" sound on LPs?
I can't get rid of it without affecting the program, especially the softer passages which come out as though they're passed through a bandpass filter.
The sound I'm trying to eliminate is a regular sh-h-h-h (short duration) sound which occurs in regular patterns, as though the damage was perpendicular to the groove for several revolutions.
It's not a "click, pop or tick" and it's not continous eiher. I've tried notch, bandpass and other filters without success.
I can get it down to a managable level, but the program suffers when I do.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
