Attached, you will find a list of 10 presets for the EZ Clean Filter. These involve starting points based on material and transfer method. The nomenclature used is as follows:
~Starting Point - xxx - yyy
where
xxx describes the media type
and
yyy describes the Pre-Amp EQ Method
For example, you will find a preset as follows:
~Starting Point - Acoustical 78 - RIAA
That means that this preset is designed to be used on an acoustically mastered 78 RPM record that was transferred using an RIAA preamplifier. It does not correct for the improper Equalization, but is optimized for noise reduction based on that transfer method
Another example:
~Starting Point - Acoustical 78 - Flat
That means that this preset is to be used on an acoustically mastered 78 RPM record that was transferred using a Flat preamplifier. The EQ will be correct, by definition of this one. Again, this is optimized to reduce the noise on such a recording based on this method of transfer.
Keep in mind that all of these presets are "Starting Points". You may have to "tweek" the settings for a particular record in order to achieve optimal results. The presets cover the range from Acoustical 78's to Vinyl LP's. Also, please note that these presets are only compatible with version 6's EZ Clean filter and must be imported into the same.
