Early CDs sometimes used pre-emphasis prior to around 1985. The attached paragraphic EQ curve reverses that on these CDs, providing a more natural balance of sound. It should not be used on CDs not having pre-emphasis encoding.

The latest version (version DCArt11 and DCForensics11) includes this feature (paragraphic EQ preset) as a standard part of the paragraphic Equalizer. If you have version 11, there is no need to duplicate this preset, but it would be useful in version 10.
